Community Connections (Required)
Please identify any and all connections you have to LOCAL communities OUTSIDE the City of Vancouver — (e.g. Burnaby, Abbotsford, Tri-Cities, etc.) A community connection means that you were either raised in that community or that you currently live or work there. Please provide as much detail as possible, including the high school you graduated from, if relevant.
For TV Media (Required)
Please indicate if you are open to television media opportunities. This could include an interview on-site at a rehearsal or via Zoom/Skype from your home. TV interviews generally take place between 7am-3pm Monday-Friday, but sometimes weekend morning interviews (7-9am) are also requested.
For Social Media Features (Required)
Please indicate if you are open to being featured on TUTS social media platforms. If "yes," our social media manager will follow up with the details!
Short Bio (for TUTS program) (Required)
Please provide a short bio (100 words or less) that outlines previous experience / education.
Long Bio (for Media)
Please provide an artist bio (100–150 words) highlighting artistic accomplishments, significant awards or recognition, etc.
Please provide any significant details and/or interesting hooks that you feel we should know about you or your career that might be of interest to media. An interesting hook could include: a recent award, connections about your work to current affairs/politics, adversity faced and overcome and how that connects to your work, etc.
Additional Questions Have you ever been involved with TUTS in the past? If so, please specify the performance, role (if applicable), and year you were involved. How does TUTS enrich your work and life as an artist? How has the pandemic impacted your life and/or career? What does it mean to you to be participating in TUTS after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19? Have you ever been granted an award, scholarship, or been recognized for your participation in a musical theatre performance?
